Rakesh Khurana, dean of Harvard, announced that “Harvard college students will be required to move out of their Houses and First-Year dorms as soon as possible and no later than Sunday, March 15 at 5:00 p.m.” Outside of my family, I was always inspired by true heroic stories of leadership and survival. For example,the story of the Shackleton expedition “There are just too many reasons why students might not be able to leave campus, so of course they’ll need services like food and housing, [but] with the library, and again these are just my feelings on it, maybe the assumption is that since there will be an unknown amount of students on campus still, they should be able to use the library and computers so they can continue to access the databases or whatever they might need for their classes to be academically successful.” He then addressed how much her support had meant to him, saying, "She stuck her neck out for me, risked her career and personal goals, and chose to help me grow as a human being & educate me on how use my platform more responsibly...WHICHHHH all allowed me to learn from my mistakes because she saw something special in me."
