Sometimes, thanks to social media, the lines between who you are as performers and the characters you play are blurred for fans. How do you navigate that?GC: Working with kids from Uganda, now kids from Mexico, and younger girls at my school in New York taught me that for feminism to become a movement that encompasses all women, as many strands of it aim to do, it will have to take on a more global character. To do that, we need to mix the power of the internet and social media with practical and concrete outreach to communities across the globe.
