Aurora was already familiar with the story of the now Exonerated Five — Antron McCray, Kevin Richardson, Yusef Salaam, Raymond Santana, and Korey Wise — due to her family’s New York City roots, and it was the first example of America’s failing criminal justice system to enrage her. The role resurfaced those angry feelings and prompted her into advocacy work. Now, she’s an ambassador the Innocence Project, an organization that works to help free innocent people from prison and reform laws to prevent wrongful convictions. Claudia herself is a testament to the boundary-breaking power of youthful energy and passion. In high school, she was both valedictorian and served as the captain of the varsity boys tennis team, and made history when she won the 2017 Ohio Boys Tennis Sectional Tournament among others as a female player. She also co-founded an initiative called Ethan88, which raises money for important causes. She put her vocal stylings on hilarious display in the above video, where she sings famous tunes impersonating famous singers. "That was weird," she said with a laugh when she finished. Fifteen-year-old Mel Harris was reported missing by his family around 3:30 p.m., on Saturday, August 5, near a bike path in Westchester. Despite both K9 units and helicopters being deployed to aid in searching for the lost teen, it would be the clientele of the the Mean Fiddler bar in Midtown Manhattan, a pub 16 miles from where Mel had last been spotted, who would alert authorities of the teen shuffling his way amid the crowd. Authorities arrived at around 11:30 p.m., about eight hours after Mel had gone missing. The teen was unharmed, and he reunited with his family later that night at Bellevue Hospital in Manhattan.
