On Saturday, August 18, a teenage girl invited her male friend to a party in Portsmouth and said the door would be unlocked. So he walked into a house at 3:30 a.m. expecting to find a party — but unbeknownst to him, the party wasn’t there, and he was instead greeted by a startled resident who opened fire on the boy as he attempted to escape, according to Portsmouth police The series of pictures posted include some of Frida's original images, alongside Becky's recreations. She put her own unique, modern twist on the look, and we have to believe Frida would have been proud. After all, as a woman renowned for being both a feminist and creating self-portraiture, she know what it meant to celebrate yourself (and your culture) long before the movement went mainstream (or selfies were ever a thing). She started the campaign after her son, Clark Jacobs, fell from his loft bed as a student at Georgia Tech and suffered a traumatic brain injury. She and Clark eventually convinced the housing departments of every school in the University System of Georgia (USG) to offer safety rails to students. This fall, the group reached a milestone when USG became a ârails-onâ school system, meaning every bunk is required to have a safety rail preinstalled. The group reunited to celebrate Kelly's son Titan's second birthday, and apparently decided to have a little impromptu performance of their own in a playroom while they were together. But rather than execute flawless choreography this time, they literally stopped the world with a pretty impressive tableau: Michelle and Beyoncé mid-ball pass, with Kelly holding a balloon. Like all successful Mannequin Challenges, they don't move a single muscle; instead, the camera pans over them for an immersive view of the scene.
