That’s why it's important for Natives to speak up and educate those who are ignorant and unaware of the issues that we have always faced and still face in 2018, like gun violence. It’s also important for non-Natives to open their hearts and minds and take active steps to learn about and understand the harsh realities of reservation life and their many racially-biased causes.
